goAnywhr Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-19 · Effective 2026-10-20

1 About These Terms

goAnywhr by Rave Group assists institutions or organisations to organise trips, share tour information and communicate with tour participants. These Terms govern your use of the verified goAnywhr app. They do not replace your travel booking agreement, school rules, parental travel permission or any separately agreed services.

Key Definitions

“App” means the verified goAnywhr service. “Client” means the institution or organisation engaging Rave Group to use the App. “Tour Team” means the authorised creators, administrators, teachers, tour leaders and other staff managing a tour. “Participant” means an authorised person using the App in connection with a tour, including a student, parent or guardian. “You” means the person using the App; “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator identified below.

The app is operated by Rave Group Int'l Pte Ltd, UEN 201508140W, of 10 Ubi Crescent, #06-84A, Ubi Techpark, Singapore 408564, trading as goAnywhr by Rave Group (we, us or our). Questions about these Terms may be sent to app@ravegroup.sg.

2 Who May Use the App

Access is limited to people registered for an authorised tour or workspace. Your verified email and assigned membership determine your role. A tour code alone does not grant access. Do not use someone else’s account or attempt to change your own role.

If you are a student, follow the school’s onboarding instructions. The client school or organisation must provide the relevant notices and obtain any required parent or guardian consent before uploading student data. Its decision to use the app alone does not establish that consent. Rave Group retains its own legal obligations.

A parent or guardian accepting on behalf of a child must have authority to do so and identify that capacity through the approved process. A child’s account, an email match or a tour upload alone does not prove that authority.

3 Your Account and Information

Keep access to your email and device secure. Do not share sign-in links, forward confidential messages or leave an account signed in on a shared device. Tell the tour team or support promptly if your account or device may have been misused.

Provide accurate information and notify the tour team when it changes. Tour creators and administrators must provide the relevant privacy notice and establish the necessary authority or consent before uploading participant or parent information. Upload only information needed for the tour.

4 Appropriate Use and Uploaded Content

Use the app respectfully and for the authorised tour. Do not harass, bully, impersonate, threaten or discriminate against others; publish unlawful or harmful material; upload malicious files; bypass access controls; or expose another person’s private information.

Upload only content you are entitled to share. Avoid unnecessary identity-document images, financial information, medical records and highly personal details in general chat or journals. Ask the tour team for the designated process when such information is genuinely needed.

You retain ownership of your content. You permit us and our service providers to host, store, display, transmit and reproduce it only as reasonably needed to operate the app, support authorised tour activities and archives, and meet legal obligations. This permission does not authorise public advertising or marketing use of student content.

5 Messages Journals and Staff Oversight

Group messages are visible to their authorised audience. Parents have separate parent conversations and cannot access student group chats. Private conversations are visible to their participants and the master admin for authorised safeguarding and incident review; private chats are not end-to-end encrypted.

Unsubmitted journals are private to the student through the app. Submitted entries may be reviewed by assigned teachers and authorised tour administrators. Parents do not receive journal access through their parent account. Staff must respect their assigned access and use information only for authorised duties.

Authorised staff may review reports, hide inappropriate messages, restrict access and export records for legitimate school, safeguarding or audit purposes. Hiding a message does not necessarily erase it from confidential staff archives. Safeguarding reports are not guaranteed to be monitored continuously.

Where available, a tour creator or authorised manager may make a conversation read-only or close it. Closure may remove participant access while staff retain authorised review and export access. Neither action automatically deletes the records.

6 Downloads and Offline Copies

Only download records you are authorised to receive. Keep PDF and ZIP archives confidential, share them only with authorised recipients and follow the school’s retention and disposal rules. Downloaded files can remain outside the app after access is withdrawn.

Offline essentials are optional copies on your device. They exclude rooming lists, private messages and student records, and expire after seven days. They may remain accessible to someone using that browser and cannot receive changes or immediate access revocation without reconnecting. Use a personal device and remove copies you no longer need.

7 Tour Information and Emergencies

Review published updates and follow the tour team’s instructions. Teachers and administrators must check imported itineraries, contact details and room assignments before publishing. Imported destination material, maps, weather and third-party content may contain errors or become outdated.

Use urgent local emergency channels and the tour team’s emergency contacts when someone needs immediate help. The app does not replace emergency services, supervision or direct welfare checks. A check-in records a participant’s confirmation; it does not verify GPS location or prove that the person is safe.

Message delivery, read markers and acknowledgements describe different app events. They do not guarantee that someone understood or acted on a message. Network access, email and optional notifications may be delayed or unavailable.

8 Privacy and Optional Permissions

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. Acknowledging that policy is distinct from consenting to optional uses. We do not currently use student photos, journals or participant content for our website, social media or promotional materials. Any future change requires a separate review, notice and appropriate permission, and must not be made a condition of essential tour access.

Browser notification or location permissions, where offered, are optional and can be managed in device settings. Declining them does not by itself remove access to essential tour information. Other lawful arrangements for necessary school or tour processing are explained in the relevant privacy notices.

9 Availability Suspension and Responsibility

We will use reasonable care in providing the app, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every imported item is accurate. We may maintain or update the service, or restrict access reasonably to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or respond to school instructions. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain restrictions and provide a contact for review.

You are responsible for your own misuse of the app and for safeguarding information you download. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes a liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. No general waiver of a student’s safety or privacy rights is created by accepting these Terms.

10 Changes and Resolving Concerns

We will identify the effective date of updated Terms and give reasonable notice of material changes. We will seek renewed acceptance where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively authorise new uses of personal data.

These Terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply. Please first contact app@ravegroup.sg so we can try to resolve your concern. Nothing prevents a complaint to the PDPC or another competent authority. Rave Group will review dispute jurisdiction and any additional liability provisions before publication.
